Selena Gomez recently teased a short clip of what appeared to be her version of Justin Bieber and DJ Snake's "Let Me Love You." Did she make a cover or was the song intended to be a collaboration with the two ex-lovers?
DJ Snake recently dropped his album entitled "Encore" in which he worked with Bieber for the song "Let Me Love You."
Gomez reportedly posted her alleged version of the song on Snapchat shortly after DJ Snake's album was released. Thus, fans speculated that the track could have featured the former couple. To their dismay, the final track only had Bieber.
However, DJ Snake posted another clip of Gomez's version of the song on Snapchat. This time, it was a longer version and fans became certain that it was Selena's voice on the track.
No one knew why the song had separate versions with Bieber and Gomez. Fans speculated that it could have been a duet or that it could be a second version of the song.
MTV suggested that DJ Snake could be waiting for the Instagram feud to die down before releasing the track with both artists included.
For the uninitiated, earlier this month, the Bieber and Gomez got into a feud on Bieber's Instagram account after he received backlash from fans for posting a photo of him and his alleged girlfriend Sofia Richie.
"If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you," Gomez commented on Bieber's Instagram.
What started as an argument about the fans turned into an argument about their former relationship. Gomez insinuated that Bieber cheated on her multiple times when they were together. Bieber then retorted by saying that Gomez had cheated on him with former One Direction member Zayn Malik. Shortly after, Bieber deleted his Instagram and has yet to activate it.
