Justin Bieber did NOT almost die while playing an electric guitar on a rowboat, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We're told it "never happened."
According to the National Enquirer, the musician treated his friends to a guitar solo during a party at his Toluca Lake home, but get a bit too close to the water. A so-called "source" tells the magazine, in bizarrely unnatural language, "Danger ramped up when the star wandered onto a dock next to a pond, still strumming the plugged-in instrument." The outlet's alleged "insider" adds, "He sat in a rowboat jammin'… but dumbass apparently had no idea that water plus electricity equals danger!"
The publication's seemingly made-up source goes on to say Bieber "stepped in a water puddle" during his supposed jam session and "lit up like lightening." The supposed "insider" further claims, "Bieber tumbled into the pond, which luckily broke the electrical connection or Funk Brain woulda been fried forever!"
As fake as both this story and its "source'" quotes sound, Gossip Cop still checked in with a Bieber confidant, who exclusively assures us this tall tale simply "never happened." Of course, the Enquirer has a habit of publishing made-up stories about the singer, so this latest piece of fiction comes as no surprise.
Gossip Cop just recently busted the outlet's outrageously false claim Bieber insured his penis for $5 million. And shortly before debunking that absurdity, we called out the magazine for its phony story about Bieber having a collection of homemade sex tapes. This latest report is just more lies from the frequently unreliable publication.
