Despite being linked to numerous guys since late last year, Selena Gomez has uncharacteristically remained single.
According to a source close to the 23-year-old songstress, she is still in love with her former flame Justin Bieber and reportedly wants to give their relationship another go, reports In Touch Weekly.
That is why the "Good for You" singer got disappointed to find out recently that Justin Bieber has rekindled his May-December romance with reality star Kourtney Kardashian.
However, all these remain as speculations pending the official confirmation from Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, who seems to hardly care what's going on with "The Heart Wants What it Wants" singer.
Selena Gomez is just coming off a major grief with the death of her dear friend Christina Grimmie, who is also a friend of Justin.
When she found out that Justin is quietly seeing Kourtney again, Selena was reportedly enraged even if she has no right to be since they are not officially a couple. But assuming that her fury is true, then she definitely has feelings for Justin, contrary to her previous statements that she finally wants to move on from the heartaches that the Biebs have caused her when they were still dating.
Dating a Selena-lookalike
Justin Bieber may be claiming that he has already moved on past Selena Gomez but most of his actions also do not say so.
The "Sorry" singer was recently spotted having a vacation in Miami and spending time with model Alexandra Rodriguez, who was a dead ringer for his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, reports Fox News.
The Biebs was spotted on July 5 along with his younger brother Jaxon at hotspot Seaspice. He docked his yacht nearby for lunch.
After having their presumably sumptuous lunch at Seaspice, they invited model Alexandra Rodriguez onboard Justin's yacht and the model concurred.
Subsequently, Alexandra and Justin lounged on the yacht as they drank Dobel tequila cocktails. A source revealed that Alexandra was with her friends at Seaspice but decided to ditch all of them in favor of joining Justin and his brother Jaxon on the Biebs' yacht.
Reports also have it that Justin and Alexandra also went swimming but since she did not bring any clothes at all during the impromptu invitation, she just changed into the pop star's clothes. The model was even spotted being cozy with Justin at the yacht after they went for a swim.
A sign that they are meant to be together
For fans of 'Jelena,' it could be a sign that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are meant to be together as lovers as their fate seemed to be intertwined. But for some critics, they simply refer to it as nothing but stage accidents.
Early last month, Justin Bieber accidentally fell off the stage during a concert in his home country of Canada.
As if by some kind of twist of fate, while performing in Tulsa, Oklahoma as part of her "Revival World Tour," the 23-year-old songstress also slipped and tumbled on the stage one week later. She was singing "Kill 'Em with Kindness" when the accident happened.
But Gomez recovered nicely and was quick to make light of her blunder. She immediately posted on her social media account that it was her first fall on the whole damn tour, bewildered that it happened in Tulsa.
Some of her fans even posted a video of her tumble on Twitter, one of whom even captioned it by saying that Selena Gomez is the only person who can fall in front of thousands of people and still be cute.
The little accident was also witnessed by Aiden, Selena's godson, but the "Good For You" singer just enjoyed it seeing her adorable godson with his little headphones on during the concert. She even posted cute pictures of the little boy with his mother and father.
