The scrolling list also included Christina Grimmie, 'The Voice' singer who was shot at a fan meet-and-greet in Orlando just days prior to the nightclub massacre.
Last month, a few days after the worst mass shooting in U.S. history took place in an Orlando nightclub, Justin Bieber confirmed he would not cancel his Purpose Tour stop in the Florida city. "I stand with Orlando in support," Bieber tweeted.
Thursday night, Bieber played Orlando and paid special tribute to the 49 lives lost at Pulse nightclub by projecting their names on a screen behind him as he sang a somber version of "Purpose."
At one point, Bieber turned to the screen and watched the names scroll as he sang. The list also included Christina Grimmie, The Voice singer who was gunned down at a fan meet-and-greet in Orlando just days prior to the nightclub massacre.
