Justin Bieber performs during the 2016 Purpose World Tour at Staples Center on March 20, 2016 in Los Angeles.
Last month, a few days after the worst mass shooting in U.S. history took place in an Orlando LGBT club, Justin Bieber confirmed he would not cancel his Purpose Tour stop in the Florida city. "I stand with Orlando in support," Bieber tweeted.
Tragedy In Orlando: The Aftermath
Last night (June 30), Bieber played Orlando and paid special tribute to the 49 lives lost at Pulse nightclub by projecting their names on a screen behind him as he sang a somber version of "Purpose." At one point, Bieber turned to the screen and watched the names scroll as he sang. The list also included Christina Grimmie, The Voice singer who was gunned down at a fan meet-and-greet in Orlando just days prior to the nightclub massacre.
