Justin Bieber's been feeling really ~deep~ lately, judging from his very active Instagram account. In between the throwbacks, merch previews, tour videos, squad pics, and memes, the Purpose singer dropped some serious wisdom about — wait for it — his real-life purpose.
"It's crazy how some people don't even question or ponder the reason for their existence and are okay going through the motions," he lamented in a post Monday. What a way to spend the 4th of July, amirite?
"We don't live to die. We have purpose and meaning! Step outside your comfort zone and challenge your friends by asking those tough questions like what do you think the meaning of life is? What do you think your purpose is?"
This lengthy message came two days after Biebs opened up about his "frustrating" relationship with religion, writing, "I don't always feel god's presence."
He got wayyy too real about his friends, too: "I'd rather be lonely than to hangout with just anyone to not feel lonely."
In this case, I'm guessing "Netflix and chill" is less about hooking up and more about binge-watching TV by yourself with no pants on. Who knows — maybe you'll find your life's "purpose" at the bottom of your Netflix queue.
