Justin Bieber's Relationship With His Mother Is Nonexisistent — Reason For Odd Behavior?

Yikes! Justin Bieber, 22, has been acting a little weird lately. From lashing out at fans to walking around in Boston barefoot, fans have been wondering what's going on with him. A source explains on May 18 that his behavior is a result of his strained relationship with his mom, Pattie Mallette, 40, which he admitted in Nov. 2015 was "non-existing". We've been a little worried about Justin lately, following a string of odd behavior in May 2016. However, a source says it's simply the result of transitioning into an adult with no parental guidance. "People have always known you as a kid, and you want to grow up and do different things and not be seen as a kid," an insider tells People. "What do you expect from someone who was on top of the world, with no proper home?" In Nov. 2015, Justin admitted that his relationship to his once-biggest supporter and mom Pattie was strained at best, saying it's "pretty non-existing" in a Billboard interview. Pattie was always a huge driving force for Justin, and she recognized his talent very early and always supported him. However, she now lives in Hawaii and he hardly sees her. Regardless, the source says only he is accountable for the way he acts. "He's an adult – he does what he wants to do."

Though Pattie no longer seems to have any control over Justin, there is still a lot of love between the pair. On Mother's Day, Justin had the whole stadium say "Aloha Pattie" to his mom on Twitter, to which she responded "Awwwwe!!! Thanks @justinbieber I love you so much that was so sweet! ALOHA EVERYONE! Xoxo."

We wonder what Pattie thinks of Justin walking around barefoot and climbing trees in Boston, passing out on the steps of the Canadian Parliament, and demanding that no more fans take photos of him before climbing up on a bar and dancing around. Hopefully he reconnects for some advice soon!
