Kanye West And Kid Cudi Have Made Every Song On Their Collaborative Album A Charting Hit

Kanye West's new super duo Kids See Ghosts might not have claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 this week with their self-titled debut full-length (it lost out by one rung to the new Dave Matthews Band collection), but the pairing is currently all over the Hot 100, the all-genre singles tally that measures the 100 most popular songs of any genre in the U.S. Kids See Ghosts, which is comprised of West and frequent collaborator Kid Cudi, have sent every song on their self-titled album onto the Hot 100, which a number of high-profile acts have managed to do in the past several years, but which does still remain a fairly rare feat and a serious accomplishment when it comes to the charts.

All seven songs from Kids See Ghosts appear on the important listing this week, and while only one tune manages to start inside the Top 40, thus certifying it as at least a minor hit, the fact that the entire album is present on the chart is still a sign that Americans were eager to hear what West and Cudi came up with in the studio as soon as it was made available. West is now one Top 40 hit away from claiming his fiftieth such success, as the songs featured on his other recent album Ye helped him raise his career total to 48 last week. Kid Cudi now has four Top 40 tracks to his name.

In addition to the seven Kids See Ghosts tracks on the Hot 100, West's name appears in five other slots, giving him control over more than 10% of the chart this frame. Five of the seven songs featured on his album Ye hold on the chart from last week, giving him a total of 12 such placements.

Kids See Ghosts is the latest musical act to see an entire record's worth of music appear on the Hot 100, and they join artists like Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Drake, Post Malone, and The Weeknd in this still-exclusive club.

It's not surprising that most of the cuts featured on Kids See Ghost didn't rise toward the top, as none of them were properly promoted as singles, which may have improved their fates. With the way West has been operating lately, it's unlikely that any of the seven songs on the record will be pushed with traditional promotional methods, though it's impossible to say what he will do at this point.

Here's a look at where the seven songs from Kids See Ghosts debuted on the Hot 100.

No. 39 - "Reborn"
No. 42 - "4th Dimension (ft. Louis Prima)"
No. 47 - "Feel The Love"
No. 62 - "Freeee (Ghost Town, Pt. 2)"
No. 67 - "Fire"
No. 69 - "Cudi Montage"
No. 73 - "Kids See Ghosts"
