Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin Having Baby?

Are Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin really planning to have a baby? That's the claim from the same tabloid that falsely alleged Selena Gomez was pregnant with his baby earlier this year. Gossip Cop can bust this new piece, just like we did that one.

The latest issue of NW features the headline, "Biebs's Backflip: 'Hailey's The One!'" Despite what the magazine implies, Bieber never actually uttered that quote. But in its story, the magazine contends, "Justin's serious about Hailey and is telling her that she's The One for him." It's even claimed that they're "so serious this time that Hails is even wearing an engagement ring." Gossip Cop already debunked that assertion more than a week ago, explaining that Bieber and Baldwin are not engaged.

On top of the wrong engagement claim, the outlet goes on to allege that "some are even speculating that the Biebs might be contemplating having a baby with Hailey." As proof, the publication points out that Bieber has "made no secret of the fact that he's always wanted to be a young dad." The superstar is quoted as saying, "By 25 or 26 I see myself married or starting a family."

What the tabloid fails to mention is that quote is nearly eight years old and was given in a 2011 interview. And the actual quote is, "Well, by 25 or 26, I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family." Notably, it appears differently in NW, which also doesn't take into account how old the statement is and that things change.

The magazine also doesn't explain whatever happened to Gomez being pregnant with Bieber's baby, as it claimed in February. And what happened to Bieber looking for an Australian wife? That was narrative this same outlet offered nearly a year ago. All this goes to show that the publication isn't remotely credible.

As for what actually is going on between Bieber and Baldwin, these claims are rather premature, just like the engagement one. Though they've been showing PDA regularly over the last few weeks, it seems their dynamic is more about having fun than putting down roots. As E! Online reported only days ago about Bieber and Baldwin's relationship status, "There's no label; they just like being together." It's a bit far-fetched to contend he's ready to have a baby with someone who isn't even his official girlfriend.

Of course, it's absolutely possible their ongoing connection will progress to a full-fledged relationship, one with some sort of commitment. But it appears there's nothing as major as having a baby on the immediate horizon.
