HollywoodLife: Senior Video Producer

Bonnie Fuller's HollywoodLife is seeking a talented Senior Video Producer to lead our video team. The video team is responsible for producing 3-4 daily news videos that excite our 1.9 million YouTube subscribers and which generates millions of views with updates on the Kardashians, Drake, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez & more.  These viral videos about the hottest celebrities of the moment also live on the HollywoodLife site, and on our 3 Facebook pages.

Reporting to the Editor-In-Chief and the Managing Editor, the ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently and able to meet deadlines with short turn-around times.

Responsibilities will include:

• Produce daily videos which are conceived for the web site, YouTube, & Facebook and shot on newsroom floor
• Write punchy, humorous, engaging scripts that are on brand for HollywoodLife's YouTube page
• Manage small team of editors
• Shoot and edit high quality footage that suits the needs of the brand
• Record weekly podcast interviews with stars
• Work with on-air reporters on red carpets, events and in studio to film interviews
• Manage multiple productions and ensure delivery on time.

Technical Requirements/Software Knowledge:

• Fluency with the Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects
• Shooting with DSLR, digital cinema, and mirrorless cameras 
• Color grading, After Effects, Sound Mixing

  Other Requirements:

• 5 to 8 years of experience shooting, creating and managing the production of premium digital video; 2-3 year experience of doing this in a management level role
• Background in entertainment, news, fashion or similarly related digital consumer media
• Thorough and current understanding of video distribution in a fast-paced and ever-evolving video environment
• A track record of producing premium, high-visibility video for large-scale audiences
• Fluency in core video social platforms and their video integration
• Passion for digital/entertainment/news/fashion
• Excellent people and management skills
