Shawn Mendes is off doing big things. Today (June 25) marks one month since the 19-year-old released his self-titled album, his third to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Aside from topping the charts, in the last few weeks Mendes surpassed 1 billion global streams on Apple Music, appeared on "Carpool Karaoke" and even released a clothing line with Urban Outfitters.
Check out a timeline of Mendes' biggest post-album-release achievements below.
June 1: Performed on the Today show
It may have rained and poured -- but that didn't stop Mendes from facing the rain to perform for his fans in Rockefeller Center for Today. In an interview with the Today show hosts, Mendes confessed that his recent EP is "the most honest I've ever been with my music."
June 1: Performed at the Governors Ball Music Festival
Mendes crooned fans with a heartfelt performance at the Governors Ball Music Festival on June 1. The singer's 35-minute set marked his Gov Ball debut, where he performed hits from his past albums including Illuminate's "Mercy" and Handwritten's "Stitches," as well as renditions of "Lost In Japan" and "In My Blood" from his latest LP. The singer also delivered a soulful cover of Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody," captivating the audience as fans sang along in harmony.

On June 3, Mendes became the third-youngest solo artist to achieve three No. 1 albums -- joining an elite group including Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. The full-length album was released May 25 via Island Records, and launched with 182,000 equivalent album units in the first week, according to Nielsen.
June 4 through June 7: Took Over The Late Late Show
The four-day venture included a string of fun sketches with late show host James Corden, including a "Carpool Karaoke" session where the singer belted his most famous tunes and admitted his unhealthy obsession with the Harry Potter movies. One of our favorite skits was Mendes' cover battle with Corden on a subway platform, as well as an intimate, acoustic performance with Julia Michaels on their track, "Like To Be You."

This breaks the previous record held by another pop icon, the one and only Justin Timberlake. Mendes also managed to surpass 1 billion global streams on Apple Music alone. We're impressed.
