This morning, Saturday, May 19th, Roseanne Barr said goodbye to Twitter because of the wildly inappropriate behavior of some of its users. In fact, according to the "Roseanne" star, the "anti-Semitism," was the root cause of her decision.
However, fortunately for her fans, some of Roseanne's Twitter friends convinced her to stay. According to Barr, social media platforms are mediums for abuse, with the exception of Instagram, which she intended to continue using.
In her own words, her decision to leave was made in "good conscience." As you may know, it's not uncommon for celebrities to take a hiatus from social media platforms due to the neverending onslaught of criticism and mean comments.
Roseanne, that's the goal. They want to discourage you so you leave. They want us all to be discouraged by low numbers as they shadowban us. Don't let them win. We can NEVER let them win. As frustrating as it is, this is the fight we need – and we need fighters like YOU in it!

Some of the most prominent stars to leave networks like Instagram and Twitter include Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Taylor Swift. Many others, like Kanye West, for instance, have re-started their accounts an innumerable amount of times.
However, some of Roseanne's fans were adamant she stay. Following ABC's choice to revive the show, "Roseanne," critics have subjected the star of the series to both praise and intense criticism.

Her character on the show is a working-class supporter of the much derided, Donald Trump. On the series' return on the 27th of March, it garnered around 27.3 million viewers, around the same amount of people who watch the Academy Awards or the Grammys.
Those who dislike the show claim the character "legitimizes" racist sentiments allegedly perpetrated by the president.
But supporters of the show say it accurately depicts the thoughts and feelings of some Trump voters while humanizing them in the process.

Either way, it looks like some think Roseanne's opinions need to be heard in the world. Tom Arnold, who announced his intention to have Trump impeached through the collection of videotapes, and also her ex-husband, said viewers should give her new show a chance.
