Justin Bieber Spent Easter Reminding Followers It's “Not About a Bunny”

Justin Bieber celebrated the Easter holiday with a number of funny selfies and a note about his religious beliefs.

The pop star, who has been spotted regularly attending church services, shared a message with his followers on Easter Sunday, telling them "Easter is not about a bunny."

Posting a screenshot of the Notes app to his Instagram, Justin wrote that "Jesus has changed my life." He continued, writing in all caps, "My Jesus died on the cross for my sins and then rose from the dead defeating death. I believe this happened and it changes everything! I am set free from bondage and shame I am a child of the most high God and he loves me exactly where I am how I am for who I am."

Justin then followed the post with four different selfies selfies that featured him sporting some sunglasses and holding a small stuffed rabbit. Along with the selfies, he also shared a picture of him and some noodles. He wrote in the first selfie with the festive eyewear, "Remember when i said easter isnt about bunnies... well i lied."

Followers have since reacted to Justin's first Easter post and many have mixed feelings regarding the note. While some shared their happiness for Justin, others questioned the validity of the singer's statement. Regardless of other's opinion on Justin's post, one follower summed it up nicely, writing: "everyone has their opinions, and there are many ways." The reply serves as a good reminder to always be respectful of other religions or beliefs you may not understand. It looks like Justin enjoyed goofing around on the holiday, which goes to show that it can be celebrated in a variety of ways.
