A new story claiming to know the reason why Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber "have no plans to make their relationship red carpet official" is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop can expose this fabricated story. It's all fiction.
HollywoodLife is pretending to know the "exclusive" details about why the music stars haven't posed together at any events in the months since they rekindled their romance. An alleged insider tells the site that both have agreed red carpets will just open them up to more "scrutiny," which they "already get from the outside world as it is." The supposed source adds, "They don't want to add any obstacles to the fragile relationship they have."
However, this story seems to have been concocted because Bieber and Gomez skipped the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday night, despite both being nominated for multiple awards. But the reason Gomez didn't attend the ceremony is because she's spending time with her family in Texas. Meanwhile, Bieber reportedly doesn't want to attend any awards shows until the release of his next album.
Also, the timing of the blog's piece is quite convenient, considering Bieber and Gomez are reportedly on a break. Seeing as the two are taking a breather, they obviously won't be strolling down a red carpet together in the near future, regardless of the site's made-up explanation. More importantly, Gossip Cop has repeatedly been assured that no one close to either singer is talking to HollywoodLife about their relationship.
It's also worth noting, the unreliable website claimed last November that Bieber and Gomez would make their red carpet debut as a reunited couple at the 2017 AMAs. Obviously, that didn't happen. HollywoodLies, as it's known, clearly has very little insight into the pair's relationship, especially when it comes to their red carpet plans.
Of course, Gossip Cop frequently catches the outlet spreading lies about the pop stars. Earlier this month, the blog pretended to know "exclusive details" about how Gomez was planning a "romantic surprise" for Bieber's birthday. Only, Bieber ended up celebrating his birthday without her, proving the site makes up stories as it goes along. This latest article about why the pair won't go "red carpet official" is more fiction.
