Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez — or Jelena, to those who know — appear to be going strong since first reuniting in the fall. While Gomez has vaguely spoken about second chances in the press, neither she nor Bieber has commented officially about their on-again relationship. But a new Instagram post hints at their bond, and it's giving fans all sorts of feels.
On Thursday, Gomez shared a photo of herself laughing with a Polaroid picture stuck to her forehead. "March 1, 1994, someone I know that happens to be super cool was born," she wrote. The photo wasn't tagged, nor was Bieber named, but it just so happens that, yes, the "Sorry" singer was born on March 1, 1994.
"Boom," she ended the caption, dropping the mic on her seeming admission.
Of course, Jelena fans immediately got into the comments to scream in excitement. "MY POOR JELENA HEART F****NG EXPLODED," one user wrote, punctuating the comment with several pink heart and sobbing emojis. Others said it made them emotional. "Tears tears tears, [very] very very very cute," another user wrote, summing up most of the reactions.
The "Wolves" singer and Bieber were first spotted getting breakfast together in LA shortly after her split from The Weeknd. It didn't take long for photos of them engaging in PDA and jetting off on vacations together to surface.
"I cherish people who have really impacted my life," Gomez recently told Billboard when asked about reuniting with her ex, even though she took care not to name names. "So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right. But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."
