Even though the pair literally just went Instagram official, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are supposedly on a break.
But before you start sobbing in your Jelena shrine, you should probably know that this is a temporary thing. Or so we've been told…
Powered by GIPHY E! is reporting via multiple sources that the two are just a smidged stressed out and are taking some much needed time apart—after recently going on holiday together (for Justin's dad's wedding in Jamaica) and spending just a little too much time in each other's company.
Reassuring all Jelena fans, the source very clearly stated: "They will absolutely get back together and they are not over, but they both need some time away from each other." PHEW.
This news comes as a bit of a shock after the couple seemed so loved-up, with Selena even sharing their first (sort of) couple pic on Instagram. We say 'sort of' because it wasn't a picture of the two of them together, but more an adorable shot of Selena grinning from ear to ear with a polaroid picture of Biebs stuck to her forehead.
The pic was posted in honour of her boyf's birthday, with this adorable caption: "March 1, 1994 someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom."
Despite the cuteness, there has been some suss activity coming from Justin's Instagram account, with the singer 'liking' some ~interesting~ posts on the sly — including this sultry one of a chick who has an essence of Selena, but is definitely NOT his girlfriend.
So should we be concerned? Maybe not yet. But sit tight during this Jelena break and we'll let you know if any other news pops up from Camp Justin or Camp Selena.
