The Biebs shared these two topless shots of himself with his arms spread out on the shore. Gomez didn't like them, but his ex Hailey Baldwin did ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
It could be meaningless or the mark of more Jelena drama to come, considering Baldwin was the alleged reason that Gomez and Bieber started attending couples' therapy in December 2017. TMZ reported that Bieber talked to Baldwin to "clear the air" over their brief but failed relationship, told Gomez about it to be transparent, and Gomez did not react well to that disclosure. This is understandable, since Bieber has admitted to cheating on Gomez in the past.

Gomez, for what it's worth, doesn't even follow Bieber on Instagram, but she did go "Instagram official" with him in her March 1 Bieber birthday post. That post remains live on her page.
Bieber's friend and the day's photographer Rory Kramer shared several more photos from the shoot on his Instagram story. They're Justin Bieber calendar-ready, honestly...or if Jelena ends again, dating app-solid, Hailey Baldwin-approved.

Depending on the outlet, Gomez and Bieber are either on a break (E!), taking time apart but still together (Entertainment Tonight), or never official but still taking a breather (People). But all three outlets' sources say that Jelena will be cuddly and making out again like normal very soon.
From People's source close to Bieber: "They weren't getting along and decided to take a break. It doesn't seem like a big deal and they will probably be fine soon again."
From E!'s source: "They were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight in particular blew up and caused them to decide to 'break up,' however, they've been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed. They will absolutely get back together and they are not over, but they both need some time away from each other."
And from Entertainment Tonight's source, who is the most nonchalant about it all: They're "still together," and the distance is generally for "various reasons. It's not because they are broken up or taking a break."
Gomez and Bieber were last photographed leaving church separately this Wednesday. They sat apart, a witness told People and two church attendees shared on social media —a stark difference from most recent Wednesdays when they sit, leave together, and are seen kissing during service sometimes. This week, one source claimed that Bieber was looking sadly toward Gomez during the service.
