Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Allegedly Taking Break Because of Mandy Teefey

If you thought Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's relationship would be smooth this time around, you thought wrong. The on-again, off-again couple is reportedly taking another break at the moment, which seems quite sudden seeing as the celebs justrekindled their romance a few months ago. But now more details are rolling in about why Jelena decided to pump the breaks this time and things are making a little more sense.

According to Us Weekly, SelGo's mom's feelings about the relaysh was a major reason why the pair decided to bump the breaks.

"Selena and Justin decided to take a break mainly because of Selena's mom and her disapproval of Justin," a source told them mag. "Justin's family loves Selena, but Selena's family has put her in a very conflicting spot because they still don't trust Justin. Selena has tried to convince her family that Justin has changed…but her family just isn't budging right now."

The 25-year-old's relationship with her mother got rocky long before The Biebs came back into her life, but they were eventually able to reconcile. The 24-year-old's presence, however, was allegedly making it hard for Sel and Mandy to continue on their smooth path.

The source continued, "Her relationship with Justin has really affected her relationship with her mom, and it's been hard for her because she is super close with her mom. Her mom was her rock when she was having her health complications. Justin and Selena decided to take a break to give her family some more time to heal and take in the idea of her and Justin being a couple again."

But the 41-year-old isn't the only factor in Jelena's break. Apparently, JB "doesn't care about anyone but himself" and as soon as the "Wolves" singer started to see this selfish behavior she got TF out because "she knows she doesn't need him."
