Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Are 'Taking A Break'

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, a real Ross and Rachel of our time, are reportedly 'taking a break' from their romance. The couple, who've been on and off more times in the last eight years than your favourite Friends couple, have decided to take a time out from their relationship.

According to E! News, multiple sources have confirmed that the pair are giving each other space right now.

"They were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight in particular blew up and caused them to decide to 'break up,' however, they've been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed," the source told the publication.

"They both have expressed that they have been feeling overwhelmed with a lot of pressure that has come with their public relationship, and haven't been seeing eye to eye on things," another insider said.

The source added, "They will absolutely get back together and they are not over, but they both need some time away from each other."

Since rekindling their romance late last year, Selena and Justin have gone on multiple trips together to Mexico, Jamaica, Seattle and Laguna Beach to escape public attention. They attended Justin's father's wedding together recently, and Selena even shared her first social media post about the singer on his March 1st birthday.

"March 1, 1994 someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom," she wrote on Instagram.

The 25-year-old Wolves singer began dating the 24-year-old star in 2010. They broke up for the first time in 2012, before going on to have an on-off relationship until 2014. Since then, they've remained in each others lives and have been pictured spending time together on several occasions in the past four. They were again linked romantically in late 2017, when they were photographed enjoying lunch and bike-riding dates in the wake of Selena's split from The Weeknd.

Here's hoping that, much like our sitcom faves, Selena and Justin find their 'happily ever after' once this break is over.
