STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAW) -- In three seasons, SPASH senior Drew Blair has gone from a roll player off the bench to the number one scoring option for the Panthers.
He scored his 1,000 point as a Panthers back in December and ranks sixth in the state in scoring. Let's get to know Blair in Hello, My Name Is.
What's your favorite part about playing basketball?
Drew Blair:
"I'd say the big crowds and the moments that you get. You can't really describe it, playing along side your teammates that you've been playing with for years now, and just that rush you get playing in front of everyone."
What's another sport you enjoy?
"I'd say golf is probably my other favorite sport I like to play. It's just really relaxing. It's just, you go out there and have fun. You don't gotta do much, you just go out there and play with some guys and have a good time."
Favorite sports teams?
"My favorite sports teams, Duke Blue Devils and the Cleveland Cavaliers. I love LeBron. Milwaukee Bucks too, just cause it's my home state, Marquette cause of Sam and Joey (Hauser). I played with them so obviously I'm a big fan of them now."
Favorite music?
"I'm a big country guy. So I just listen to some soft country before the games, and maybe some Bieber or something. 'Baby' by Justin Bieber, it's a banger."
Superpower you'd want?
"I'd be invisible for a day so I can go around and see what everyone's doing, see what everyone's thinking, talking about, when you can't be there and hear what they're saying."
