Selena Gomez is nursing the breakup blues Down Under.
Over the weekend, the newly single singer relaxed on a yacht with friends in Syndey, shortly after she and on-again boyfriend Justin Bieber pulled the plug on their rekindled relationship.
Clad in an orange bikini top and black bottoms, Gomez, 25, read a book as she sunned herself aboard the luxury vessel.
Following her breakup with The Weeknd last fall, the "Bad Liar" singer soon reconciled with Bieber, 24. Despite giving their romance another go, the young couple faced obstacles, namely Gomez's mother, Mandy Teefey, who told Gossip Cop she was "not happy" about the reunion.
"Selena is an adult and can make her own choices," Teefey said. "She is 25 years old and knows what is at stake with her health." Gomez underwent a kidney transplant in September to treat her lupus.
An insider revealed trust issues were to blame for Gomez and Bieber's latest split.
"They're supposedly taking a break. She has trust issues. He has trust issues. There's a lot going on there. They do this all the time. They get into arguments," a source told "Page Six TV" last week. "They're not talking. It's hard to keep up with those two!"
