Juice Press jumping on the jar trend with meal plan

The juicing trend phenomenon is evident across the city, with green juice shops popping up on almost every corner.

Juice Press made a splash with an edgy look and celeb fans, from Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel to Bella Hadid, Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner and Bruce Springsteen.

But it is now branching beyond juice to an even newer trend — jars.

If juicing gets you "hangry," (that terrible combo of hungry and angry) — or if your body is simply craving some real solid foods along with the juice — Juice Press has introduced a new "Clean Eating Plan," which offers "nutrient-dense" jars of real food, like noodles with pesto mushrooms, along with salads and hot soups, including red lentil and butternut squash.

The Juice Press Clean Eating Plan runs around 1390 to 1580 calories a day. The three-day plan costs $160 while the five-day plan is $235. Optional add-ons include $8 for two organic snacks a day (such as almonds or kale chips) and caffeinated drinks for an additional $4 a day.
