Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Are Reportedly Not Spending Christmas Together

As Jelena fans continue to wait for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez to confirm something – anything – about their relationship status, there's more bad news for anyone who was looking forward to a selfie of the on-again, off-again couple under a mistletoe or hanging out by the Christmas tree in candy cane onesies. According to PEOPLE, Selena's family "is still not happy" about her reported reunion with Justin. "Selena doesn't bring Justin to any family events. Selena is spending Christmas with her family. As of now, Justin is not invited."

If you've been keeping count, that's the second big holiday in a row that Jelena will be spending apart since reportedly getting back together during the last quarter of 2017. In late-November, E! News reported that Selena flew to Texas for Thanksgiving, while Justin spent the turkey holiday in Canada. "Selena felt it was too soon for Justin to come to Texas with her," according to one source. "Her family is still getting comfortable with the idea of them back together."

As for Justin's parents, it looks like they share the same sentiments as the Biebs when it comes to Selena. "His parents love Selena," one source tells E! News. "They want him to date someone and think she is very sweet and a good girl."

In the meantime, brush up on your holiday karaoke skills by listening to "Mistletoe" on repeat from now until New Year's Eve. Isn't 2011 Justin just adorable?
