Justin Bieber's head of security was arrested for DUI Thursday after an early morning car crash that injured two Miami-Dade police officers, police said.
Mikey Arana, a longtime member of the pop star's security team, was arrested for DUI, leaving the scene of a crash and other charges, a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department told the Daily News.
Two officers were injured in the accident — with one being airlifted to the hospital. Both have since been released from the hospital, according to Miami-Dade Police.
"Thankfully, both of our officers involved in the crash earlier this morning have been discharged from the hospital and continue to recover at home," the department posted on Twitter Thursday morning.

Arana was booked in jail.
WPLG Local 10 News reporter Erica Rakow shared video and images from the scene showing the white SUV allegedly driven by Bieber's security guard, as well as a shot of the damaged police cruiser being towed away.
Officers told WPLG-TV that Arana refused to do a field sobriety test or give a blood sample.

Bieber booking video released by prosecutors
Bieber, 23, was arrested for DUI in Miami back in 2014 after he was pulled over for drag racing in a $260,000 Lamborghini Gallardo. He admitted to consuming alcohol, being high on pot, antidepressants and beer.
"There are five [SOBRIETY] tests - I believe he failed all five of them," Miami Police Sgt. Bobby Hernandez told the Daily News at the time. "He was very uncooperative with the officers at the scene, using profanity."

The "Sorry" singer reached a plea deal months after his arrest, agreeing to 12 hours of anger management counseling, attending a drunken driving program and making a $50,000 donation to the "Our Kids" youth organization.

Arana was spotted at Bieber's side when the singer left the jail after his 2014 DUI arrest. The pop star was sporting a dark black hoodie and black sunglasses as he waved to his fans.
A rep for Bieber did not immediately respond to a Daily News request for comment.
