Justin Bieber's bodyguard was arrested early Thursday morning after driving drunk and crashing into a police car in Miami, police authorities confirmed to Page Six.
Michael Arana, 32, the head of Bieber's security team, injured two police officers when his SUV crashed into their police car. One was taken to the hospital while the other, who was severely injured, was airlifted to a nearby hospital. Arana tried to flee the scene but police caught him.
"Thankfully, both of our officers involved in the crash earlier this morning have been discharged from the hospital and continue to recover at home," Miami-Dade police tweeted.
Arana faces three counts of DUI damage to property or person, two counts of leaving the scene of a crash and one count of leaving the scene of the accident with property damage.
Bieber's rep didn't immediately return a request for comment.
