A source told US Weekly that Justin would not let a second chance pass him by. In fact, he is determined "to be a better person for Selena" after making bad decisions in the past.
The 23-year-old Canadian singer is said to be quite sure of his future with Selena Gomez and plans to marry her.
"Selena gets criticism from [the one she loves], but she believes she sees a different side of Justin this time," the source told Aceshowbiz. "Her friends and family trust her judgment, for now, they are happy because she is so happy."
Justin and Selena's romance has been going strong. They were seen almost everywhere together, such as during Justin's hockey game at the Los Angeles Valley Ice Center in Ventura, California last week when she was spotted kissing him.
