But Justin Bieber's biological father Jeremy proved he is still very much on the scene as he bonded with the 23-year-old and his youngest son Jaxon, seven, in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Just days after reports emerged claiming that the chart-topper had turned to pastor Carl for advice after cancelling the remainder of his Purpose tour, Jeremy was seen jetting into LAX from his home in Ontario, Canada.

His visit was seemingly a welcome one as Justin looked in high spirits as he stepped out in the city.
The Sorry hitmaker flaunted his rippling abs and inked-up chest as he sauntered solo around the city, before hopping into his lavish Mercedes 4x4.
His choice of shorts were somewhat controversial as the loud, yellow numbers appeared to be merchandise from his recent Purpose tour, which the singer cancelled just days ago, prompting disappointment and outrage from thousands of fans.

Meanwhile, Jeremy will no doubt offer some much-need support for Justin, who also recently made headlines after accidentally hitting a paparazzi with his vehicle.
The 42-year-old was seen tailing Justin's car as they drove around LA, while also enjoying some quality time at the singer's lavish home.
Their weekend of bonding comes after insiders at Hillsong Church allegedly told TMZ that Justin and pastor Carl had been 'nearly inseparable' over the past month.

Last month, Justin shared a selfie of the pair on Instagram, the caption of which saw him commend the pastor for 'bringing out the best' in him.
Sharing a snap of the pair smiling for the camera, Justin wrote: 'THIS IS MY DOG TIL THE DAY I DIE .. he's the biggest Brodog, ride or die.. til the wheels fall off!! #bringsthebestoutofme.'
The duo have also been pictured hitting the basketball court together and dining out with friends in recent weeks.
Their growing closeness is also rumoured to be behind Justin's decision to scrap the rest of his tour, with the Love Yourself crooner expressing his desire to 'reconnect with his faith'.
