Dismissing the reports that Cheryl is planning to enlist Sorry singer Justin to help out with her musical comeback, the 34 year old's representatives exclusively told OK! Online: "It's not true".

Speaking to The Sun about a collaboration between the two stars, a source said: "Cheryl is set up to meet with Justin Bieber on her LA trip – to discuss finally doing that track together.

The source continued to say that Cheryl's partner Liam Payne set up the meeting with the Baby singer to discuss a future release.

They said: "Set-up by Liam – a big favour... Biebs has said 'cool, let's hang out and talk' but he can be notoriously flaky – and ruthless when it comes to his music."

Despite the denials from Cheryl's camp, Bieber has been open in the past about his desire to work with the former Girls Aloud singer. 

Justin Bieber told the Daily Star Online that he has been wanting to work with Call My Name performer Cheryl for a long time.
