5 AFTER MIDNIGHT'S Kieran Alleyne and Nathan Lewis are moving to London to be closer to bandmate Jordan Lee and complete their debut album.

Father-of-one Kieran, who is relocating 102 miles from Leicester to the capital, is hard at work on the trio's second single which is scheduled for an October release.

The group, who finished third in last year's X Factor, is hoping Simon Cowell will invite them to perform on the programme when it returns later this year.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Kieran, 22, said: "Jordan lives in London already. Me and Nathan are like the travellers at the minute, but I'm moving down and Nathan's looking to move down, and it will be slightly easier to hang out.

"I'm definitely going to be watching [X Factor] this year. I want to see who's coming through this year and it'll be nice to sit back and watch knowing how the show runs, we're gonna know how it works.

"We've heard nothing about it [performing on the show]. We're keeping our fingers crossed and hoping Simon invites us down to the show. Just got to wait and see what happens with that one."

The group has recorded their own take of David Guetta and Justin Bieber's smash hit 2U in a silky smooth cover video.

Stripping back their usual lively performances to showcase their vocals, the trio's harmonies are on point and will no doubt delight fans.

Explaining why they chose to put out the video, Kieran said: "I felt like it was nice arrangement-wise, it was quite open for us to add harmonies in and just really spacious. The possibilities with what we could have done with the song were endless."

Since achieving success on the X Factor, the group has been working non-stop to remind people just why they were so popular on the show.

"It's been crazy," shared Kieran. "I can't even believe it's been a year yet, that's the most ridiculous thing. It feels like it's been so non-stop, we've come off the show and did the X Factor, we've been working on the single, gigging, coming off the tour, meeting incredible artists.

"We've loved it, it's been such a great journey for us so far and we just hope the next year brings us as much fun, entertainment and craziness."

The trio are still close pals with fellow finalists Matt Terry and Saara Aalto and have been receiving feedback from Simon Cowell and mentor Louis Walsh.

The boys have also had the pleasure of meeting some of their heroes since finding fame and they're keen to emulate their idols' success.

Kieran said: "We've met some amazing people. For me meeting Bruno Mars is incredible, he's an inspiration for me in general, and the same for John Legend.

"Your hustle rate is just ridiculous, they just work and work and work and I wanna get there. Everyone we've met has been super nice. There's not really been anyway that's like I'm gonna steer clear from them."

He added that the group is "really grafting" in the studio and are looking forward to putting out an up-tempo track.
