This Country Probably Became The First In The World To Ban Justin Bieber

If you're a Belieber and you live in China, you're probably never going to catch him live in concert.

The Chinese government has reportedly banned Canadian pop star Justin Bieber from touring in the country, according to a report by The Telegraph.

The ban came to light when a die-hard Bieber fan e-mailed the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture last week, asking why the 23-year-old has stopped performing in the most populous country in the world despite having tour dates around the region.

The Bureau later responded in a statement on their website, saying that although he is "a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer."

Therefore, the Chinese government has decided to ban Bieber in an effort to "maintain order in the Chinese market and purify the Chinese performance environment".

However, the ban doesn't seem to be permanent, as the Bureau ended the statement by saying that they hope that he would mature and continue to improve on his words and actions.

Of course, there's good reason for the Chinese government to ban the pop star from performing in the country.

When he was in China back in 2013, Bieber courted controversy when he was pictured being carried up the Great Wall of China by his entourage. 

He was also later seen skateboarding on the streets of Beijing with his entourage:

Well, the funny things is, he's not the only person banned by the Chinese government recently.
