Justin Bieber jets into Sydney and shows off basketball skills

Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber has hit the courts in Sydney's west during a surprise visit to the city this afternoon.

Video obtained by 9NEWS showed Bieber playing a game of basketball with friends at Sydney Olympic Park.

Earlier today, Bieber was snapped by paparazzi strolling shirtless along Bondi Beach, and shopping at a pop-up Louis Vuitton boutique.

The 23-year-old also broke his infamous "no selfies with fans" rule to pose for a smiley pic with a fan on the beach.

The Love Yourself singer jetted into the Harbour City on Monday ahead of an appearance at a Hillsong Church conference tonight.

The religious event is expected to attract more than 30,000 people, The Daily Telegraph reported.
