The very famous pop star offered his words of advice to the youngster

JUSTIN Bieber has backed Cruz Beckham's singing career and thinks his very famous parents will help him make it big.

The 23-year-old, who has the same manager as the 12-year-old, said: "Cruz Beckham could be the next superstar, for sure. He has pretty talented parents in the first place and is a pretty talented kid – I back him completely."

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, Justin advised Cruz is to "stay close" to his famous parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

He continued: "He has been blessed with such great parents, so if he wants to break into the industry, my advice would be to stay close to them.

"Parents can stop you from doing dumb things and keep you on the right track.

"I'm always around to give advice when he needs it, but mum and dad will know best."

Cruz previously revealed that his parents have been very supportive, saying:  "They said 'Just be happy, if you don't want to do it, you can come back to it a bit later'. And they just said that they're happy whatever I'm doing and singing makes me really happy."

And big brother Brooklyn has been just as supportive.

"He said to me that he's really proud and I can't ask for any more support. Everyone is so supportive," Cruz added.

Justin is also friends with Cruz's older brother, 18-year-old photographer Brooklyn Beckham, and hailed his pal as a "really good guy".

He added: "He is just a really chilled guy to be around."

Last year Cruz released his first track for Christmas called If Every Day Was Christmas.

And it's not just Justin who has his back – he's also been lucky enough to work with Ed Shereen, who he is a big fan of.

Speaking about Ed, the youngster said: "I just love all of his songs. If anyone picked one of the songs, I'd just love it. And I love how he plays the acoustic guitar like me."

Ed told The Sun of the friendship: "I went and spent a while chatting to Cruz about his music and teaching him how to write a song.

"We live really close to each other in London. I obviously grew up loving both of them [David and Victoria] so it's a bit surreal for me."
