Singer Selena Gomez has praised his ex-boyfriend, singer Justin Bieber, for his moving speech and performance at the One Love Concert in Manchester on Sunday, which honoured those who lost their lives at an Ariana Grande Concert two weeks before, in Manchester.
During a visit to a New York-based radio channel, Gomez said that she found Bieber's words at the concert "really beautiful." "I thought Justin did great. It was really beautiful. It was beautiful. I thought everyone did such a beautiful job. It was so gorgeous. I love how she [Ariana] ended it," she said during the visit.
During the concert on Sunday, Bieber broke down while performing his hit single Love Yourself, on stage, and also talked about spreading peace.
"God is good in the midst of the evil. God is good in the midst of the darkness. He loves you. To the families we love you so much. Put both hands up to honour those people right now. Say we honour you, and we love you, he declared, as the emotional audience repeated back. We honour you. We love you. Thank you so much for having me," he said during the performance.
Other musicians who performed at the charity concert included Katy Perry, Pharell Williams and Miley Cyrus among many others.
