Pop star Selena Gomez sang the praises of her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber after his emotional performance at the Manchester benefit concert.
Bieber, 23, teared up as he addressed the crowd at the One Love Manchester show, which donated proceeds to the victims and the families impacted by last month's deadly terrorist attack in the English city.
"I thought Justin did great," Gomez said during Monday's episode of "The Morning Mash Up" on SiriusXM radio. "It was really beautiful."
Bieber, who performed acoustic renditions of his recent hits "Cold Water" and "Love Yourself," became emotional after he finished his songs.

"I'm not going to let go of hope," he said, choking back tears. "I'm not going to let go of love. I'm not going to let go of God."
The star-studded benefit concert was put together by pop star Ariana Grande just two weeks after a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device outside her concert at the Manchester Arena, killing 22 and injuring dozens more.
Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Coldplay and The Black Eyed Peas were among the big-name acts that also performed at the show, which sold out within six minutes. Grande concluded the powerful show with a heartfelt rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
Gomez was moved by each of the stars' performances.

A final total for how much was raised at the show has not been announced, but all of it goes to the Manchester Emergency Fund that was set up by the Red Cross.
