Justin Bieber almost broke down on stage during Sunday's "One Love Manchester" benefit show.
The 23-year-old "Sorry" singer led the audience in a "love" chant after performing stripped-down versions of "Love Yourself" and "Cold Water."
"God is good in the midst of the darkness. God is good in the midst of evil. God is in the midst, no matter what is happening in the world. And he loves you, and he's here for you," Bieber said through tears.
"I just want to honor those who were lost, those that were taken from us. We love you so much, to the families, we love you so much. Put both hands up to honor those people right now."
'One Love Manchester' musicians team up for 'One Last Time'
Bieber and other musicians, including Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Take That, Niall Horan, Little Mix, Robbie Williams and Black Eyed Peas, joined Ariana Grande in the concert to honor the 22 people killed in the terrorist bombing outside of her concert last month.
The benefit concert raised at least $9 million for the We Love Manchester emergency fund, which is providing financial aid for families affected by the suicide bombing.
