Justin Bieber recently visited India for the first time, and his Purpose World Tour India made headlines for all the wrong reasons from bad lip syncing to the poor organisation. While the Mumbai concert is long gone and forgotten by many, the organisers are still in trouble for the Justin Bieber India tour 2017. The latest trouble comes from the Thane Collectorate as the organisers took in 7272 extra fans in the concert and exceeded d the permitted number by the government authority. The Thane Collectorate served a show-cause notice to the managing director of White Fox, Arjun Jain for the Justin Bieber Concert which was held on May 10, 2017, at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The Thane collectorate had given permission to allows 34,529 spectators, however, a special group of officials inspected the venue and found out that organisers have given out 7272 extra fan tickets and White Fox was charged with this violation. The organisers have been asked to pay an additional duty of Rs 92.5 lakhs for the duty violation and have been charged a penalty of Rs 1.85 crore. The notice revealed that the VVIP 1 and VVIP 2 sections which were originally supposed to have 93 86 people were packed with 150 people each and the VVIP 3 section held 900 fans instead of the assigned 518 people. Justin Bieber in India: Singer meets underprivileged kids, gives out free tickets to his Mumbai concert!

The organisers had been given a notice period of 10 days for providing a detailed explanation of the reason behind this violation and to pay the fine and duty charged. The deadline ended on Saturday, May 20, 2017, following which the formal notice was issued. The Justin Bieber India Concert organisers, White Fox, are yet to reach a decision about paying the huge amount as a penalty and duty charge, which crosses Rs 2 crores.

The Justin Bieber Concert in India was held on May 10, 2017, at DY Patil stadium and the event saw a huge turnout. However, the Canadian pop star received a lot of criticism over his performance as he was clearly seen lip syncing to most of the songs and made several goof ups through out his performance. While younger fans of the international personality enjoyed just looking at their icon, others were troubled by the mediocre level of the entire concert.
