Justin Bieber is reflecting on his past and is grateful for the present.
The Canadian boy wonder-turned-bad boy shared a photo of his 2014 mug shot and contrasted it with a more recent selfie. "I love this because it reminds me I'm not exactly where I want to be but thank god I'm not where I used to be! The best is yet to come do you believe it?" Bieber captioned a side-by-side comparison of the two images.

The photo on the left is from the "Baby" singer's 2014 arrest in Miami. He was pulled over for drag racing and was subsequently charged with a DUI.
Police told the Associated Press at the time that Bieber admitted to smoking weed and drinking alcohol. He also was said to have taken a prescription drug which was later revealed to be Xanax.

"I went in, and I'm telling you that 24 hours sucked," he reflected on his short stint in jail during an interview with Complex. "It was really cold. That was the worst part about it. It's freezing; it's uncomfortable; there are people in there you just don't want to be around."
"I had people who were yelling at me. They were saying, 'Bieber! We f**k with you, bro! We love you! Aye! Keep your head up, bro!' It was kind of funny to hear that, especially from cats in jail."
