Justin Bieber did NOT cause the organizers of the Z100 Jingle Ball concert in New York City to be fined $1 million, despite a ridiculous webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We're told it's not true.

"Jingle Ball Brat! Justin Bieber Ruins Holiday Concert," blares a new RadarOnline headline. The accompanying article quotes a so-called "source" as saying, "Justin Bieber was so late to the stage that he ended up costing the promoter millions of dollars in fines." The outlet's dubious insider goes on to claim the singer was nowhere to be found when it was his time to perform, and "eventually the organizers had to knock on his dressing room door and beg him to take the stage."

The site's questionable source continues, "He was paid to perform for 30 minutes, but [Madison Square Garden] has a midnight curfew. Any show that goes on past midnight cost the promoter millions in fines." The "insider" further purports that Jingle Ball producers "begged the pop star to end the show" before the deadline, but he "refused to leave until 12:15 am, costing the producers millions and making a lot of fans mad that they missed their train home."

Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a reliable source close to Bieber, who exclusively assures us there's no truth to the webloid's account of events. We're told, "Justin waited patiently backstage as the show was running behind all night. He took the stage when asked and the show did not run over." In other words, this is a non-story seemingly concocted to make the singer look unprofessional, but it's all fabricated.
