Green Day

Speaking to the NME, Billie Joe Armstrong gave an update on the HBO adaptation of Green Day's American Idiot Broadway show. The singer/guitarist will return to his role as St. Jimmy and said, "I think it's going to be a lot different from the musical. It's kind of more surreal, but I think there's going to be parts of it that might offend people - which is good. I think it's a great time to offend people."

Justin Bieber's singles from his hit album Purpose will be released as a limited vinyl box set early next year. The Purpose Singles Box Set is limited to 5,000 copies and includes three 7" vinyl records, featuring bonus tracks, a 12-page book with photos from Bieber's tour and lyrics.

Vinyl reissues are all the rage, as Bon Jovi will release their back catalog as a massive box set of LPs simply titled Bon Jovi: The Albums. Due in February of 2017, Billboard reports the collection will contain 17 albums across 25 records, along with Jon Bon Jovi's solo material and a rarities bonus disc.
