Hip hop/country artist Post Malone's wardrobe is mostly comprised of oversized T-shirts, ripped up jeans, and canvas slip-ons but occasionally the 21-year-old Texan will take some weird chances with his clothes. Last night, he gambled with what he put on and won. He isn't the first guy to use loud outerwear as a lazy way to look cool (Zayn Malik and Jaden Smith are pros at this move) but few have gone for neon-bright bubblegum pink. Post styled his Saint Laurent Teddy jacket like a pro too, with not-too-tight black jeans, a black T-shirt, and shiny black boots. His various hand tattoos certainly didn't hurt the situation.
Many guys shy away from pink, because they think it's too feminine or too loud or both, but Post Malone is proof that it can work. And not only can it work but it's probably a good idea to own it in a big way rather than try to be coy with a pink pocket square, jacket lining, or tie. Just goddamn go for it, is what we're saying. You don't need to hold the world's hand any more than you need to dress like Justin Bieber every day.
