It was a night of music's biggest and brightest stars.
But perhaps none shined brighter than model Gigi Hadid.
The 21-year-old model scintillated as she kicked off her hosting gig at the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday night.

As Jay is known for his impressions, the supermodel thought that she would give her first try at mimicking another famous person.
Gigi lampooned soon-to-be first lady Melania Trump as she began her impression by puckering her lips.
She then put on a ridiculous accent and shed light on the 46-year-old model's plagiarism controversy earlier this year as she said: 'I love my husband, President Barack Obama and our children Sasha and Malia.'

Drake has the most nominations of any artist, with an impressive 12 nods to his name including Artist Of The Year, while a nomination for Rihanna's Work, which he features on, brings the number up to 13.
It's a record-breaking amount, with Michael Jackson previously holding the most American Music Award nominations in a single year when he received 11 for Thriller.
Drake, 30, will be vying for the evening's top honour alongside on/off girlfriend Rihanna, as well as Adele, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Twenty One Pilots, Carrie Underwood and The Weeknd.

There is no overall song of the year category this year; instead honours will be handed out for best song in the categories of pop/rock, country, rap/hip-hop and soul/R&B.
While Selena Gomez has been taking some time off from music and is being treated for depression, the show's producer Larry Klein told E! News that she may be making a brief return to the spotlight with an appearance at the ceremony.
