TWO Northwich youngsters had a dream come true when they danced onstage with Justin Bieber during his UK arena tour.
Dancers aged as young as six were invited onstage to strut their stuff in front of thousands of people alongside the Canadian pop megastar during shows at Manchester Arena and the Genting Arena in Birmingham.
Two dancers from Northwich performed with Bieber during his song Children after winning a competition that saw them learn a special dance routine and upload of video of it to Youtube.
Charlotte Roberts, 12, from Lostock Gralam, joined Bieber on stage in Birmingham last Monday.
The St Nicholas Catholic High School student only found out two days before that she had made it through the auditions.
"I was ecstatic," she said. "I wasn't allowed to tell my friends until after."
Despite the limited practice time, Charlotte didn't succumb to pressure on the night.
"It was really good, probably one of the best experiences I've ever had," she said.
"I was excited, happy and a bit nervous. I didn't forget any of it that was the best part."
Charlotte said she has been a Belieber for around five years, so when her idol introduced her to the crowd and hugged her she admits she was lost for words.
She said: "When he gave me a hug after he introduced me I couldn't think of anything to say. I couldn't catch my breath."
Charlotte's dance partner, Indea Loverseed, 11, was also joined Bieber on stage in Manchester on Sunday.
Indea, who attends Weaverham High School, said: "My mum rang me in school at lunch time to tell me the news. I cried.
"I looked a bit of a fool."
The two girls dance at StagePro Academy in Warrington and were selected alongside Callum Armstrong from Latchford and Chantelle Walehaine from Padgate.
Joanne Edwards: "It's absolutely crazy – when Callum told me I was just stood there with my mouth open for ages.
"Just to actually be stood there and dancing with him is amazing and they're going to remember that for the rest of their lives.
"It's a great opportunity for them."
