For her part, Selena Gomez suffered some kind of anxiety and depression and claimed that it was not caused by her tiff with Justin Bieber but her medical condition, lupus. She has since checked herself into a rehab to take some time off from her already toxic schedule and stressful situation.
Shortly thereafter, Justin Bieber broke up with Sofia Richie, his girlfriend of only six weeks, who, according to reports noticed the tension between the Biebs and Selena Gomez that she may have felt that they still have feelings for one another and were merely fooling themselves.
Reconciliation is imminent
According to both fans of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, the reconciliation between the two pop superstars is imminent.
Both of them are now uncommitted and it looks like it will remain that way up to the day that Selena Gomez checks out of rehab a few months down the road, notes Headlines & Global News.
The rumors have been pretty consistent in saying that it was Justin Bieber's relationship with Sofia Richie that caused Selena Gomez to lose her way and admitted herself to rehab.
She was obviously affected especially when Justin personally told her that he has never felt more intense in love with Sofia since the two of them were still a pair. That would have surely hurt any woman, and Selena Gomez is no exception.
There were reports saying that before the "Good For You" singer checked herself into Brookhaven, she actually been admitted to a mental institution first. Selena apparently, cannot stop partying and drinking as ways to avoid her feelings for her on and off boyfriend.
Reports also say that things were definitely worse before the songstress decided to seek help with her mental and emotional problems.
Fortunately, Selena Gomez is said to be recovering already. The former Disney star is rumored to be responding to treatments well so there is a strong possibility that she can get out of rehab sooner than scheduled.
Preventing any possible reconciliation
Contrary to fan wishes, the family of Selena Gomez is said to be doing everything they can to make sure that the "Sorry" singer will stay away from her as far as possible while "The Heart Wants What it Wants" songstress deal against the symptoms of lupus in rehab, reports the Inquisitr.
The family of Selena reportedly reached out to Justin Bieber recently and asked him to stay far away from her. The family even told the "Purpose" singer that he is banned from calling, texting, e-mailing, or visiting Selena.
Apparently, they are blaming Justin Bieber for the recent downward spiral of Selena Gomez, emotionally and physically, particularly their messy Instagram feud in August.
Meanwhile, Selena Gomez is on a medical hiatus now because she is suffering from lupus and meltdown, which is one of the side effects of her prescription drugs, but the rumors of late about her is so bad that she is better off resting somewhere than dealing with it.
The minor of the two major rumors is that she was the reason why her former boyfriend Justin Bieber split with his erstwhile girlfriend, 18-year-old Sofia Richie.
It seems unlikely that Selena could cause the six-week relationship of the Biebs with the daughter of Lionel Richie because they apparently broke up in their own doing and Selena was nowhere part or privy to their decision.
The second and more damaging of the rumors is that the "Good For You" singer was one of the reasons why A-list Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split up.
