Justin Bieber's been told that he must travel to Miami to give evidence in an assault case against him.
While there are worse orders than 'go to Miami', it could cause big problems for the singer, as he's been given 30 days to turn up and he's in the middle of a densely-packed world tour.
The case has been brought by paparazzo Manuel Munoz, who's suing both Bieber and one of his bodyguards. The photographer alleges that the bodyguard assaulted him in a Subway restaurant while trying to make him delete photos.
The bodyguard is specifically accused of tripping Munoz and causing a "small scratch" on his left knee. Yes, we know, it sounds awful.
According to court documents seen by TMZ, the judge's order states that he'll issue a writ of bodily attachment if Bieber doesn't come voluntarily - that means he'll have sheriff's deputies after him.
Justin hasn't been told to attend court - instead he'll be giving a deposition, in which he's expected to be asked about previous run-ins with paparazzi and fans. And apparently the whole thing will be video-recorded, which means it might end up in the public domain like this highly entertaining one did.
[Justin Bieber taking his previous deposition very seriously]
Bieber's had a mixed month, picking up the most nominations (along with Beyoncé) for the MTV European Music Awards, but also apparently splitting from his girlfriend Sofia Richie after just six high-profile weeks.
Ah well, at least he knows how to drown his sorrows.
