Oh, Justin! Our fave Canadian "bad boy" just keeps making news for all the strangest reasons (seriously though, when's the last time you saw a Biebs headline that had something to do with his music?).
Most recently, the 22-year-old had us talking when he deleted his Instagram account, giving way to the #JustinDeactivatedParty, which was quickly followed by the lit AF #SelenaEndedJustinParty. But, unfortunately for JB, jumping off social media couldn't help stop the viral spread of his latest embarrassing incident, which took place in a West Hollywood Subway.
It all started innocently enough when Justin popped in to grab some food while his new GF (and the reason for his Insta deactivation), Sofia Richie (yes, that's Nicole Richie's younger sis!), waited for him in the car. Then it happened: As he rushed to pay for his food and get back to his new lady love…the credit card he forked over was declined. Um, *AWKWARD*
Thankfully, Justin has friends (and fans!) all over the world: Although we're sure one of his many bodyguards could have helped cover the bill, it was a Belieber inside the Subway who forked over the necessary cash to treat his idol to a foot-long sandwich, four milk bottles and cookies, according to The Daily Mail. That's true love (and next-level fandom) right there!
If you'll recall, Adele ran into a very similar situation earlier this month when her credit card was declined at H&M. But…HOW?
Maybe JBiebs maxed out his card while spoiling his new flame? The two hit the town the night before to celebrate Sofia's 18th birthday, then headed out on a shopping spree to Barney's New York before the ill-fated lunch stop.
Not that anything could stop the couple from continuing the over-the-top bday festivities: Justin and Sofia are keeping the party going in Los Cabos, Mexico as we speak. Must be nice…
