Pop star Selena Gomez appeared to accuse her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber of repeated infidelity during a heated social media squabble on Sunday evening, People reports.
"Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad," Gomez allegedly wrote on Bieber's Instagram photo, according to the magazine. "Sad. All love."

(justinbieber via Instagram)The apparent back-and-forth between the famous exes began earlier in the day Sunday, when Bieber threatened to make his Instagram private in response to a wave of online backlash from fans against his rumored new girlfriend, Sofia Richie.

Gomez seemed to take exception to her fellow pop star's warning, reportedly blasting the "Sorry" singer in the comments section of his photo with Richie for taking such a standoffish approach with his loyal supporters.
"If you can't handle the hate, then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol - It should be special between you two only," Gomez allegedly wrote. "Don't be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before any one ever did."
Bieber, 22, then reportedly fired back with a pair of retorts — including one that seemed to accuse his former on-again, off-again girlfriend of using him.
"It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way," the apparent comment read. "Sad. All love."

That remark prompted the "Kill Em With Kindness" songstress to retaliate with her bombshell cheating allegation, according to People.
Later in the evening, Gomez cryptically posted a collage with all of her fans that some interpreted as a subtle dig at Bieber.
"My whole life. You matter most," she captioned the image. "Thank you for letting me do what I love every day."
Multiple fans shared screen grabs of Gomez and Bieber's apparent commenting war on the Instagram photo, which has garnered more than 543,000 comments overall.

Speculation has swirled around Bieber and Richie, 17, for more than a week, as the star-powered pair has been photographed together multiple times in recent days.
Likewise, Richie — the daughter of musical icon Lionel Richie — accompanied Bieber during a recent trip to Japan for his back-to-back concerts there.
