Is Jelena over forever? Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are moving on. Samuel Krost seemingly confirmed that he was in a relationship with Gomez. And Bieber continues to hang out with several women, most recently Sofia Richie.
Krost was first linked to Gomez last fall. They then were spotted together on several dates, earlier this year, though they never confirmed they were an item. But in a now-deleted Instagram post, Krost admitted that he did have a relationship with the singer.

"Selena is a real girl with a real heart and real feelings," he wrote. "All you superficial who are just unhappy with your love lives, understand that love is real. Although we have ventured on separate paths, at least I know that love exists. I love you, Sel."

It's no surprise that Gomez tried to keep her romance with Krost under wraps. She admitted in a recent interview that she is trying to keep her love life out of the spotlight.

"For a while my private life was the most talked about thing," she told Vogue Australia. "Nobody really knows everything, and they can only assume. You want to do what you love but all of this other stuff overshadows it so it makes it a little harder for people to take me seriously."

Justin Bieber, for his part, is moving on as well. Bieber has reportedly spent five straight days with Sofia Richie, daughter of singing legend Lionel. On Wednesday, they spent time in Laguna Beach before flying to Japan ahead of his concerts.
E! News reported on Wednesday that Bieber and Richie are just friends. But either way, he is not dwelling on his failed romance with Gomez. He has been seen with numerous women over the past few months, including Sahara Ray and Chantel Jeffries. So it appears he's just having fun and enjoying the single life.

Selena Gomez also recently hinted that she was still single. And she noted that it is hard for her to find a serious boyfriend.
"I think people would think it's kind of dumb [to date me]. Nobody would want to throw themselves into a situation where it was so heightened publicly. Like, why would they?" she added to Vogue Australia. "The guys that do have the confidence to hit on me are not necessarily my type, but they think they are because I'm a pop star, I sing songs, do movies, I like to feel sexy and confident on stage. I'd be so stoked with a writer or producer or actor who is low-key, but those kind of guys are terrified of me!"

Whether or not Gomez is in a relationship, it's clear she's moved on from Bieber. She's grown a lot over the past year, and it shows. She's no longer obsessed with her ex, and she has no interest in repeating the cycle of their unhealthy relationship. And that has made her a stronger person.
