Justin Bieber's Justmoji Say More Than Words Ever Could

At the end of 2015, I became a person who uses emojis. Or, more specifically, Kimojis. Kim Kardashian West had created her own language and, in turn, set the benchmark for all future celebrity emojis. The ultra-luxe–focused keyboard, which features American Express Centurion cards, Range Rovers, and Yeezys, was suddenly my new go-to for group chats and emails. And while there have been new versions of Kimojis since its launch—including the most recent update featuring Kanye West, Kylie Jenner, and North West—another A-lister is trying his hand at the mobile takeover game: Justin Bieber.

The Canadian superstar launched Justmoji on Friday, and not only has it nearly reached the top of the App store, it's redefined the celebrity emoji genre. The 22-year-old's keyboard is a whimsical mix of cartoon drawings, graphics, and GIFs that express more than words ever could. Instead of asking my friends "What do you mean?" now I can send a quizzical Justmoji. Why would I ever use the well-worn heart-eye emoji when I can send an image of the singer with hearts (or dollar signs) in his eyes? And for those who think Bieber is not in on the joke, Justmoji pokes fun at the singer's colorful past. While I'm still learning how to use all of them properly, I'm confident that I'll be fluent in Justmoji soon. Just belieb.
