Justin Bieber to Move Forward With Orlando Concert After Mass Shooting: 'I Stand With Orlando ...

Justin Bieber performs during the 2016 Purpose World Tour at Staples Center on March 20, 2016 in Los Angeles.

Justin Bieber will not be canceling his show in Orlando later this month.

The singer tweeted Thursday morning (June 16) that despite recent tragic events in the Florida city, he has no intention of canceling his June 30 concert.

This is the first time Bieber has publicly commented on the mass shooting that occurred in Orlando early Sunday morning. The Orlando nightclub shooting left 49 dead and 53 injured -- the largest mass shooting in U.S. history.

The night before the Pulse nightclub massacre, singer Christina Grimmie was gunned down during a meet-and-greet following her performance at the Plaza Live in Orlando. Bieber broke down while dedicating his song "Purpose" to Grimmie during his Monday night (June 13) show at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg.

Bieber's management cited their own "security incident" earlier in March during one of the singer's meet-and-greets while on his Purpose World Tour. The incident led the singer to share with his fans via Instagram that he will no longer be doing meet-and-greets.
