Justin Bieber performed a touching tribute to Christina Grimmie over the weekend.

"Baby" hitmaker Justin Bieber performed a touching tribute to Grimmie over the weekend, collapsing to the floor as he tied lyrics to his song "Purpose" on stage in Canada.

"Grimmie, can you hear me?" he said while fighting back tears during the heartfelt performance. Fans captured the moment on camera, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Grimmie, 22, who was a participant on "The Voice" season six, was shot dead on June 11 after while signing autographs following a performance in Orlando, Florida.
